Hi Cousin Marilyn!

We were in Albany about two years ago, and I don't remember seeing the "cousin" Lola Lainhart book in the Genealogy section. I made a copy the first time I visited, but was trying to get better copies of the photos. Cousin Dorn Green also says he hasn't been able to locate it either. You say that you have seen it recently? Maybe we weren't looking in the correct place.

"Cousin" Will Todd's book included the Todds; the McLeods; the Rambos and a "bit" about the Greens (Caroline), etc..

Are you aware that there is a new book being put together on the Rambos, and that the original Rambo in this country was Peter Gunnerson Rambo, who was one of the first settlers with the New Swedish Colony in Pennsylvania? The Rambos were Swedish, not French as has been handed down on my side of the family - - of course they may have been at one time, but Peter considered himself Swedish and spoke Swedish, according to the written accounts. (I don't remember, do you also have a connection to the Rambos, or just the Greens?)

Please E-mail me at: mebarger@dc.rr.com

Take Care!

Cousin Michael
