McCurry no longer exists. It was located just a couple of miles northwest of Darlington MO in Gentry County. I'm told it was once a very active and prosperous town. I believe it was located on a railroad line. It was gone when my mother was born (1926) but many of my ancestors before her lived in and around McCurry.
