According to her death certificate, Susan Elizabeth Kyle Watters was born in Missouri on March 21, 1865 to Daniel Kyle and wife Mary Harness. Her husband was Alfred Watters Sr. At the time of her death, she lived at rural Robertsville, Franklin County, MO. Her cause of death was bronchopneumonia and she had been bedfast for a year. She also had epilepsy and generalized arteriosclerosis. She died November 8, 1953 at the age of 88. She and her husband Alfred Sr. (1848-1940 or 1941) are buried at Mt. Olive (Methodist) Cemetery near Robertsville, Calvey Township, Franklin County, MO. The informant (next of kin) at the time of her death was B. J. Watters of nearby Pacific, MO. Her death certificate clearly states the date of death in 1953, but her tombstone evidently says 1954, indicating that the stone may have been erected some years later, after memories were a bit clouded. Alfred's death is listed as November, 1940, but his tombstone has 1941 as the year of death.
I hope this information is useful to you.
