Of the roughly 125 Blankenship's listed in BLM GLO land records for early Mo.Counties there are only 2 for Franklin. Elisha,1848 of course, and Matthew,1840. Doesn't mean they are related. With a little checking you may be able to figure where the 2 guys land was in relation to one another. If very nearby they could be kin..,.Al
