Debra, Hi, Sorry to disappoint you, but I just have a question about your Walker family. Do you have a Pearl Minnie Walker in your family? She would have probably been born in the late 1910-1920's and was married to a Curtis Dale Peacock for a short time. They either married and lived in St. Clair (Franklin Co-not too far from Union) or St. Louis on 16 Feb 1946. (The marriage records states her name as Pearl Minnie Walker-I don't know if she was married before Curtis or not.) Before Pearl, my grandfather Curtis was married to Mary Donner (they had five children) for ten years. He divorced my grandma Mary, abandon his family and married Pearl. Then a year later in 1947, Curtis divorced Pearl (or she died) and remarried my grandma Mary. (needless to say,Curtis wasn't a nice man.) I am very interested to learn about Pearl and her short marriage to Curtis. Curtis and Mary have long since passed on. This event wasn't spoken about in my family. My dad only mentioned it a few times and talked briefly about his stay in the orpahnage before he passed on last year. That makes me think that there must be a juicy family mystery out there just waiting for me to uncover. I also wonder if Pearl and Curtis had any children. It was rumored in the family that Pearl and Curtis carpooled to work together to Ralston Purina (from where, I don't know-either St. Clair or St. Louis). Perhaps this is how they met. If you have any info on this Pearl Minnie Walker, I'd appreciate it. Thank you, Jane Notify Administrator about this message?
