Martin and Frances Jameson Cromer

Am looking for connections to Martin Cromer, married to Frances Jameson Cromer on 6/39/1842. Had one son named James, born about 1848-1850. Don't know of any other siblings. James married Virginia E. Armstrong in 1870 and at some point migrated to Texas where my grandfather, Britt Cromer, was born. If anyone has info regarding Martin and Frances, children, etc. I would appreciate anything. Can't seem to tie him in anywhere else. On 1870 census, James is listed in house of Frances Davis (she remarried a Garrit Davis after Martin died). Believe this is same James who came to Texas. Also, through another researcher, Martin is believed to have lived in Indiana before 1830, although I can't verify this.
