Rebecca, Your John was born 5 Aug 1829 but not sure if after they came to Franklin Co. I have only 8 of their 12 children so don't have Stephen.....probably one of the older children.

William, their father, was brother to my Jemima who married
John Dollarhide and also came first to Franklin Co. and then to Hickory Co. They are both children of Stephen Osborne and Comfort Langham. This Stephen was born ca 1745 in York Co., SC and that is where he married Comfort in 1765. They raised their family in Scot Co., VA. Possibly that is where you might find your Stephen if he didn't come
with the family to Missouri.
