My Dyson line (that arrived in Franklin Co. MO ca. 1830) was an allied kin of the Lovelace family in NC. Also the Silas Gaither family went to Maries Co. with the Lovelaces and Dyson kin.

I am a descendant of William Dyson who was b. in MD ca. 1776. The family moved to Iredell Co. NC in the late 1700s.. then William and two sons went to Franklin, Gasconade & Maries Co. along with some nephews, namely Lovelace & Gaither. They eventually settled in Maries Co. MO. William's sister, Amelia, m. a Lovelace in Iredell Co. NC. and died there ca. 1829 & 1830 respectively.
