Have you checked the Missouri death index?
Took me forever to find Harreitt Collins Johnson and her husband charlie. Because
Their daughter's said Harriett Collins Johnson's name was Nancy H Johnson.
The death date on her head stone was like 1943 but she died in 1942, Her husband died in 1943.
I had to play with the names and then finally decided to check all Johnsons listed!
Charlie Johnson was the son of James G. JOhnson and Mahala Stodghill.
Then I have a James Johnson (wife listed as Sarah ) who's son Dave Johson married my Aunt Zettie Collins , they divorced and Dave Johnson married Cleo Collins and Zettie married Oliver Collins !
