Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Heard family:

Martin Heard and Jeremiah Early Heard are brothers.

Martin/Melvin settled in Ozark County, Missouri

Jeremiah brought a wagon train in Missouri in mid 1850 from Marion County, Tennessee.

Jeremiah and Martin have sister name Mary.
Mary married John or James Kilmer

Her sons Byrum and Early Kilmer came with their Uncle to Missouri in 1857s.

I know this because Early is my gggreatgrandfather.
I own many books on this family back to 1700s.
