Howdy, John William (S)Mahan 11-27-1843 Pontiac, Ozark Co. Mo....d: 10-31-1912/13 in Mammoth, Ozark Co. Mo. he is now buried in Pontiac Cemetary, Ozark Co. Mo....he was married on 10-22-1866 to Mary Martha Nave 1-27-1847/6-1-1905 and is also buried in Pontiac Cemetary....John's parents were Isaac Newton Mahan & Elizabeth Louisa(Elouisa) Ford. Isaac was born in McMinn, Tenn. & Louisa was born in Ark. Isaac & Louisa were also moved to Pontiac Cemetary.....they were originally buried in the Silent Valley of the Dead @ the mouth of Brattons Spring Creek. I havae the Mahan line back to Patrick Mahan 1741....Isaac is a brother to my line who is John 1826 who married Sarah Ann Welch.....these are my g-g-grandparents. just email me at outabout21@hotmail.com if you would like more info...
