Jasper Milton Scott / Lucinda Holman - Ava, Douglas, MO

Hi,

I am in hopes of locating descendants of Jasper M. Scott and Lucinda Holman who lived in Ozark Co, MO for the 1880 census and later moved to Ava, Douglas, MO. Jasper's parents were Rev. Flemmon Scott and Phebe James.

In the 1880 census, Jasper and Lucinda had two sons....William b. abt 1878~and~James O. Scott b. abt 1879. They likely had more children after that.

I do not have ancestry.com, so I do not know where they were in the later census records.

I would appreciate anything that can be added about this family. If there are some descendants out there, I would like to swap info about the Scott and James families. I also have pictures of three of Jasper's sisters and four of his brothers. I would like very much to see a picture of Jasper.

Jasper's brother, Gabriel Marion Scott, moved to Arkansas and changed his name to (Dr) Robert Franklin James...but that's another story. I do have a picture of Gabe in his senior yrs.

Hope someone has additional info about Jasper Milton Scott.

Thank you,

Karen
