I'm looking for some input or sense in all of the following: First, I've been hunting for Louisa Conley for ever, it seems (really only been 3 years...). Anyway, I find a Louisey Conley with a George Conley in 1880 Carroll County Arkansas (from the Family History library, also available through Carroll County Genweb):

Nancy E. CONLEY Wife M Female W 49 MO
Sintha Ann CONLEY Dau S Female W 23 MO
Louisey E. CONLEY Dau S Female W 11 MO
She is the right age AND she was living next door people I KNOW she considered cousins (the family of Jesse and Arminda Conley). Sintha Ann married Shelvy Rhine/Rine in Carroll County, and is spelled as "Connelly" in that marriage book.
BUT this same family shows the father as Joseph in the 1860 Douglas County MO census,

37 312 312 Conley Jesse 8 M W MO . . . . . this Jesse is probably living next door to "George Conley" in the 1880 census...
38 312 312 Conley Mary E 6 F W MO . . . . . (this Mary Conley married Isaac Rhine in Carroll County, but is listed in the marriage book as Mary Couley)
39 312 312 Conley Sintha A 3 F W MO . . . .see above note
A marriage record for Joseph Conley and Nancy Carter Conley shows up in Benton Co MO in 1851.

BUT in 1850 there is a Joseph CONDLEY in the 1850 Benton Co MO census, next door to the Carters, and along another family of Jackson Condley nearby.

So, does anyone know if the the 1880 George is the same as the 1850/1860 Joseph? Also, does anyone know where if any of them can be found in 1870 anywhere? And one last question: does anyone know about the Harrison Condley born in Indiana about 1835?
