Barbara -

Thanks for the clerification. I knew something was out of kilter as Moses was born in May of 1862, the same year in which Nancy E. McIntosh was born to James and Nancy Hicks McIntosh. I hadn't come across Edward or Lucinda McIntosh before. I assume that Edward would have been a brother to Margaret "Peggy" McIntosh Riley, Mary "Polly" McIntosh Coats (my gggrandmother), James McIntosh, Stephen Miller McIntosh and Nimrod McIntosh. What do you think? Does this list seem accurate on the McIntoshs tht came from Kentucky in the late 1830s? (A descendant of James A. and Ruthie Hitchcock McIntosh showed, in a family chart thst she constructed, Charles A. McIntosh as the father of this brood.) Two more things: do you have a maiden name for Edward's wife, Lucinda, and were there other children born to this couple? Thanks again.
