Looking for descendants of Lewis Michael Stecker son of Gottleib Stecker and Caroline Weehlan of Hancock/Seneca Counties, Ohio. Lewis Stecker probably came to Ava Missouri circa 1880/1890 married and had 5 or 6 daughters one of which was Vernice Stecker Williamson of Ava. I believe Lewis Stecker may have been a blacksmith. Lewis Michael Stecker was a brother of Charles Gottleib Stecker who moved from Ohio to Spiro, Rockcastle County KY and then to Somerset Pulaski Co., Ky. Charles was a farmer and my greatgrandfather. Their father Gottleib Stecker had come from Wuertemburg in southern Germany.
