Brenda, I have the original US Forestry Service map of the Douglas County, MO area where Florilla was located but there is no mention of Florilla. In fact the map does not show any church, school or cemetery near. If you are ever back in Douglas County, go to junction of State Highway 76 and Highway EE. There used to be a store at that intersection. Anyway, turn south at that intersection for 1.5 miles. You are in the approximate area where Florilla was. Florilla had a post office from 1879-1911. I found some Briscoes burried in the Flatrock Cemetery which is located further east, near the Howell County line. Earl
