I recently made a trip through Douglas County looking for Florilla where my ggrandmother, Elizabeth Jane Brisco, said she and my ggrandfather, John Earl Jones, were married in 1874. I found it on an old map, but couldn't find any trace of it now. Does anyone know exactly where it is (or was?) The whole area seems to be part of the Mark Twain National Forrest now.
