Can anyone out there clarify the relationship between John KING, age 60, his wife, Sarah, age 52, born NC and the BINGRMAN(sic) that are listed with them in the 1870 census?
I have been trying to find the parents of my Minerva (Manerva KING, born Il, abt. 1842, to a John KING of NC, born abt. 1814-this info from the 1880 census)
What is interesting is that "my" Minerva marries a Robert JACKSON BINGAMAN in Bond County, IL. This is NOT the same Robert Jackson BINAGAMAN who marries Nancy and is buried in Timberidge Cemetery.
What I find very interesting is that living with Mr. and mrs. KING in the 1870 census are a rosana BINGRMAN, age 27, born IL, Green BINGRMAN age 22, born Il, Sarah, age 22, Isaac, age 18 born Tennessee Margareta, age 16 born MO , John, age 14, and Manerva, age 9....too young to be "my" Manverva/Minerva.......may be nothing, but I ofund it interesting.
