My mother and her father always kept newspaper clippings. I hope this will help someone with their research.

Sonny as he was known to everyone, lived his entire life at Long Lane. He was a member of the Laborers International Union 676 of Springfield and he had worked in construction work as well as farming for several years.

He was converted at an early age and united with te London Smoke Baptist Church where he remained a member until his death.
