Jane: I think we have had some communication before because my g-grandfather, Daniel Hunt, was a brother of Lucinda Hunt Allison and therefore James 'Major' Lewis Allison was a first cousin of my grandfather, Marion Dee Hunt.
Another connection to this Hunt family is that Mary Emily Holloway was an aunt of Sarah E. 'Dolly' Anderson who married Lewis Woodson Hunt, son of Daniel Hunt and older brother of my grandfather. Sarah's mother, Nancy Holloway Anderson, is buried in the Brookline Cemetery, Greene Co., MO.

The parents of Mary Emily Holloway Allison were Almarine and Emily Houston Douglas Holloway who are buried in the Highland Cemetery, Ozark, Franklin Co., Arkansas. I have pictures of them sent to me by a descendant of Lewis Woodson and Sarah Anderson Hunt.
