I know of the Emma Owens who is buried at Sinking Creek, but she was Henry's second wife. His first wife was Emma Wisehart. No one can find where she died and is buried. I cannot locate anything on her. Henry and Emma Wisehart-Owens had a daughter Pearlie May Owens, born Dec 1884 and I think a son Albert Owens born May 1887. Emma Wisehart-Owens died between May 1887 and 1890. Henry remarried the second Emma and they had 4 other children. Verna, Joseph H., George W. and Minnie B. Then she died shortly after Minnie B died. Henry, Pearlie and the children were found on the Rock Prairie census in 1900 with Henry's mother Sarah Wayland. (I don't know if Wayland is a 2nd married name or it was her married name before Owens. Henry's father was Benjamin Owens and his mother Sarah. Henry, Joseph H., George W. and Minnie went to Benton Co. Ark after 1900 sometime. George stayed there until his death, Minnie came back to MO and not for sure about Joseph but think he went to west to Kansas, Neb. or the like. There is a Fred Owens, son of H. Owens, in Sinking Creek Cemetery, wish I could find his obit or info of death. Any suggestions? He would have been Henry and Emma Wisehart-Owens first born. Thanks for remembering me.
