I know there is a Turnback Creek near Greenfield. Does anyone know if there is a place called "Turnback Mountain"? Ancestors of mine (Volner of Cherokee heirtage) were supposed to headed west from Illinois to the Indian lands, but decided to go back into Union County Illinois at Turnback Mountain (according to family history) where they remained. Some later moving into Missouri.

Thanks so very much, Carol
