She definately could have been married in Lockwood or any other town, however, she would probably have gotten her marriage license in the Dade County seat versus another county seat. The county seat is Greenfield and is eight miles from Lockwood. Unfortunately I am in South Korea or else I would do the look-up for you.

You can contact the Dade County Geneaolgy Society at PO Box 155, Greenfield, MO 65661 and see if they can check or you might go to the Dade County Rootsweb site and click on the Geneaolgy Societies listing. There is an email for Audrey Brown and she does a lot of work for them.
Also, if you know what religion she was you might contact churches of that denomination. Dade County is a quiet place these days and I am sure someone can help you.
