I have checked the book out and I will give you info:

Peter Pinnell was born near Greenville South Carolina. He served two years with the South Carolina troops in the Revolutionary War, he enlisted in 1781. He married Nancy Yarber who was of Dutch ancestry. In 1818 the family now consisting of fifteen children moved to Crawford County Missouri. They eventually settled on a farm on Brush Creek. Peter Pinnell is buried in a small burial ground that lies just east of highway 19 and ten miles north of Cuba. This is in Oak Hill Township.
