Andrew Jackson Tinker & Rebecca (Capps) Tinker had 9 children, none of which was Rachel who married James Lea. They are my great-great grandparents.
However, Allen Tinker the s/o John & Nancy (Byers) Tinker married Rebecca (Dyer) Willis in 1871 and I have Rachel as being their daughter.
John Tinker born ca. 1800 KY married 1) Delilah Harris 1828 Washington Co., MO. Four known children, maybe another son. He married 2) Nancy Ann Byers. She born ca. 1830 IN, d/o John & Sarah Byers of Reynolds & Dent Co., MO. They had five children, Allen was the eldest.
Allen Tinker born ca. 1851 MO married 1) Rebecca (Dyer) Willis in 1871 and 2) Ann (Dotson) Todd.
There is a death certificate available for Rachel T. Lea which states she is the daughter of Alen Tinker & Rebecca Willis. It states Alen was born MO and Rebecca in Texas. For Rachel the following: born 29-Apr-1889, died 3-Oct-1946 in Texas Co., MO. She was buried 5-Oct-1945 in what looks like Enery or Emery Cemetery. The funeral director being out of Houston, MO if that helps. She was married at the time of her death to James W. Lea and they had been living in 7 miles N.W. of Houston in Bucyrus, Rural Piney area of Texas Co., MO for the past 12 years. She died of cardiac decompression due to mitral insufficiency.
