William C. Watson Merrimac TWP 1840 Census

William C. Watson lived in Merrimac Township, Crawford County, MO during the 1840 Federal Census. He is shown age 40-50 and his wife was 30-40. They had two males: age 10-15 and 15-20 along with two females 5-10 and 10-15 years old.

My GG grandfather John Charles Watson left no clues about his parents names. We cannot find circumstances of his passing. No obits, funeral notices, final resting place. We know he was born 1830 in Kentucky and was a Presbyterian. If he followed naming convention, his father was William and mother Catherine. He named his first born son William Charles in 1865.

Last entries in his daily journal were made at Cape Fair, Stone County, MO July 13, 1903.

Information about William C. Watson is greatly appreciated.
