Hi Betty,
I have a Clover that married into my family in the Crawford/Jefferson counties areas in the 1800s:My great grandparents, John F. Wade & Mary Jane (Jennie) Dodd Wade had a daughter Effie who married Giles Carrow. They had a daughter Effie "Lee" Carrow who married Thomas "Kennedy" Clover.
Lee was born 5/18/1896 and Kennedy was born abt. 1896. They married 8/14/1915.
I would think most of the Clovers in that area in the 1800s would be related.
More recently I remember a Pete Clover who had a daughter Kitty. I knew them when I was a child in the 1950's but have lost touch.
Would appreciate any info you have and will share any I might have for you.
Barbara Wade Milligan
