My family lived in Osage, Crawford County, Missouri I have looked on a map and can't find it, just where is it, and was there mining in this area, as my Zeigler/Ziegler/Sickler/Seckler line lived there in 1860 US Census under the name Jacob Sickler, age 40, tho we always were told his name was Philip, and were miners in later years.
I believe that my GGreat grandfather Philip Jakob Zeigler/Sickler, may have died here in 1864/65 during Civil War either as a result of the war as a soldier or a civilian.
