Looking for more info on Jacob and Thomas Jefferson Shirley who were in Warren Co. TN abt 1837 and before. They may have also had a sister Elizabeth Shirley.
Jacob Shirley was married to Sophia unk???. T.J. Shirley was married to Mary Simmons bn. VA. Also need parents for Jacob and T J Shirley who were bn 1800-1813. TJ may have been born in NC.
Jacob, TJ and Mary Simmons Shirley were in Crawford Co. Missouri by 1838. Their mother may have been with them purchasing land in Missouri and her name may also have been Mary Shirley. A Mary Shirley deeds her Crawford Co. MO. land to John L. Spear on Aug. 1, 1839.

A person by the name of John Lemon seems to leave the same piece of land to his niece Sarah Ann Spear in his Will dated May 9, 1848, Crawford Co. MO. John L. Spear was the administrator of John Lemon's Estate in May of 1850.

What is the relationship of the Spear, Lemon and Shirley families? Could Mary Shirley's maiden name be Spear or Lemon? Were there Lemon and Spear families living in TN.
in the 1830s ? Any help appreciated. Thanks
