I have a publication entitled RECOLLECTIONS OF CLIFTON CITY, MISSOURI, 1873-1998. It has quite a bit of information in it regarding the people and businesses of Clifton City. I would be glad to check it for you if you would send me a few names.

I have a lot of families who came from that area in Cooper Co. My great-great grandfather had a blacksmith shop near New Lebanon from 1849 until the 1860s. I have a ledger from his shop showing many accounts. I would be happy to check that also if you are interested.
