Garrisons in Cooper Co, 1840
Posted by: marti Date: May 31, 2001 at 15:52:47

There is a possibility that a name on the 1840 Cooper County index which reads Karsom Garrison is really Isham Garrison, based on the handwriting, which could be anything! Given the breakdown of male, female and ages within the census, we are wondering if this is Isham, if his brother Buckner and father Edmond could have been in his household. Buckner married a Lucinda McBride about this time and her family lived in the next county, Morgan Co. Does anyone have any connections to or information about this family? Thanks for any help!
Marti
