Hello David,

I do not have a land plat atlas for Cole Co. MO, however, the legal land description of this property can be found at:
http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/Logon/Logon_Form.asp

Your ancestor, Wilson Rakes, had land patents for three different pieces of property:

Name, State, County, Issue,Date, Land Office, Doc., Nr. Accession/Serial Nr.
RAKES, WILSON P MO Cole 6/1/1859 Fayette 36566 MO3200__.402
RAKES, WILSON P MO Cole 6/1/1859 Booneville 37010 MO3200__.188
RAKES, WILSON P MO Cole 10/1/1860 Booneville 38286 MO3230__.155

For the property that you describe, the legal land description is:

Aliquot, Parts Sec./Block, Township, Range, Fract. Section, Meridian, State, Counties
Nr. N2SW, 31/ ,43-N, 11-W, No, 5th PM, MO, Cole

Unfortunately, without a plat map of some kind, it is tough to find out where in Cole Co. MO this is.

Hope some of this helps.

Regards, Dan Smith
