Alfred King family
Posted by: Beverly Lowrance (ID *****4903) Date: August 01, 2012 at 11:26:49

I am interested in connecting with someone with knowledge about the Alfred King family. I have found them listed in the 1860 census in Nodaway Co. & 1870 census in Clinton Co.
Alfred, wife Elizabeth, sons Samuel & William are buried in Pleasant Hill Primitive Baptist Church cemetery In Trimble, according to Find a Grave. I am most interested in Alfred's son George. He was born abt 1853 in TN according to the census reports, but is not buried in the same cemetery.
My GGGrandfather was also named George King, born in 1853 in TN. I haven't been able to connect him to any parents or siblings. He married Martha Mathews in Benton Co., Arkansas in 1873. She was from Illinois.
Hopefully someone can help me. Thanks in advance.
