Osborn Origin

Wondering if anyone knows the origins of the town of Osborn in Clinton, MO.

My Osborn family in MO dates to the early 1800's, primarily in Boone & Daviess Counties early on, later into the St. Joseph area.

Does anyone know who (if anyone) the town was named for or founded by?
