Grayson is a very small village that I do not believe ever had a school. It has declined even further since the railroad abandoned the line that served it. There are some larger nearby towns that could have provided schooling for that area. Smithville (Clay County) Edgerton (Platte County) Gower (presently East Buchannan school district) and Plattsburg (county seat for Clinton County) are the most probable. Plattsburg is the most distant (about 10 miles), but the only one in the same county. Gower is right on the county line with Buchannan County and a good second choice.
