I am the gggrand daughter of Howard Everett and Sarah Ann Waltrip, thru their son Henry Clay Everett. I am looking for proof of the marriage between Howard Everett and his second wife Sarah Abner which took place about 4 Mar 1860. It seems that they had several children together while he was still married to Sarah Ann Waltrip. I am also looking for proof of the births of these children.
They are: James Abner, 1840; Albert 1842; Andrew J. 1850; Francis 1851; Martin Milton 1853; Martha Alameda 1857; they are all listed in 1870 Censes of Oxford, Johnson County, Kansas page 4.
Howard Everett was also a farmer and a preacher and help to found the Christian Church in Clay County, MO.
