Marr, John in Confederate Service
Posted by: Phillip Marr (ID *****0804) Date: April 07, 2006 at 13:48:32

I am trying to find information on John Wesley Marr as Confederate soldier. What little information I found on John states: he was a Confederate soldier under General Sterling Price and he was wounded in the leg which had to be amputated. John was born in Barren Kentucky in 1830, moved to Clay County. Mo. and then moved to Texas about 1879. I would like to know his regiment, company, rank. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
