Pat - I got your message. I did not mean to imply that we were not related. Since your reply. I went to another genealogy web site. I found an Ida Mildred Estes who was born in 1891 in Callaway County, Missouri. She died in 1972 in Callaway Co., Missouri. Her father was John Thomas Estes. He had a sister named Ida Estes. John's father was William Riley Estes who was born in 1833 in Callaway Co., Missouri. William's father was JOhn Estes who was born about 1799 in either KY or TN. Does that match your information. This source does not mention my branch of the Estes tree. The only Burns that are mentioned in this source were Everett Burns or were still living today.

Joel Estes who died in Clay County, Missouri had 13 children. They all had many children. The Ida Estes you met could have been the gggrandaughter of Joel Estes but I am not aware of it. I have not researched that family tree that far. Also, Joel Estes moved to the Clay County area with several of his brothers and sisters. There source I looked at only had 18,000 on the one chart of the Estes family. The book I mentioned still may solve you mystery. I hope this helps.
