Brian-the more I read your messages the more convinced I am that my Burns and your Estes are connected!!!! I have heard that we are related somehow to Robert E.Lee and Patrick Henry, and I was raised in Lafayette County Mo.(Lexington) where there was an elderly lady whose last name was Estes and she had a goiter on her neck. She was elderly when I was young,in the 50s.I remember her pipes would always freeze in winter and my daddy would always go thaw them out for her.
Have you ever heard of a William Burns born in 1834????
