My wifes mother was a Bruner, and lived in Bruner (No Name significancce)Missouri. She marrried Loyd Morrison, The Bruner family has a long history in Missouri. My wifes Grandpa was Montie Bruner
Born 1907 in Taney County Missouri, his father was Daniel Franklin Bruner 1873 born in Macon Missouri, His father was born in Kentucky. Montie's Mother Julia Selvidge, was of Cherokee lineage from Martha Craft 1848,Through the Essary's, she got her Cherokee Blood from Sookie Granny Grasshopper 1732 Eastern or Southern Cherokee.
On her other side her grandmother was Rebecca Doefoot McClain.
Hope this Helps. The White/Bruner tree was our first source, William H. Bruner was the Creek line. Many of the Bruner Creeks seem to come from Ky,MO, AR, Off of the Trail Of Tears.

Jim
