I'm looking for information on the ancestors (or siblings) of JOSEPH & ANN JOHNSON. Born in TN, these people moved their family to Greene County MO about 1840. This part of the county became part of Christian County with its formation (1859?).

One of their daughters, DARTHULIA JANE (or DARTHELA?) married THOMAS JAMES KERSHNER in 1869. I would like to hear from anyone with any information about this family. I have a fair amount of information to share on the Kershners, and the descendents of Darthulia Jane, but I have almost nothing else on the Johnsons.

The 1850 Federal Census Greene County, MO, Finley TWP, listed

(1123-1123) farmer
JOHNSON, Joseph 38 m TN

Ann E. 36 f TN
Sylvester 13 m TN
John La. F. 11 m TN
Leroy 9 f ? MO
Parlee 7 f MO
Amanda 5 f MO
Darthela 2 f MO
Duane 8/12 m MO

Darthulia Jane Johnson b 2/15/1848 in MO. Darthulia married (1869) Thomas James Kershner (b 12/20/1837 in Hawkins Co. TN) and moved to Greene County MO where she lived until her death in 1929.

Children of Darthulia Jane Johnson and Thomas James Kershner included:
1 Martha Ida Kershner (1869)
2 Edward E. Kershner (1871)
3 Adelia J. Kershner (1873
4 Thomas A. Kershner (1875
5 Lucy E. Kershner (1876)
6 Maude Dell Kershner (1879)
7 Mary V. Kershner (1880)
8 William James Kershner (1882)
9 Charles W. Kershner 1885)
10 Daniel G. Kershner (1886)
11 Mamie Kershner (1889)

Many thanks in advance for any information you might be able to provide,
