Hulda Jane (Jones) Hale

Funeral services for Hulda Jane Jones Hale, 80, who died January 12 at her home in Billings were held Friday afternoon in the Billings Baptist Church, with Rev. Floyd Hanks and Rev. Richard Gandy officiating, Burial was in Smart Cemetery under direction of the Harris Funeral Home of Billings. A resident of the Billings community most of her life, she was the widow of the late James S. Hale. She was also preceded in death in 1954 by a daughter, Mrs. Velta Peters. She had been a member of the New Friendship Church, south of Billings, since 1912. Survivors include three sons, Hobart Hale of Springfield, Arval Hale of Clever and Eldon Hale of Billings, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Garrison of Snyder, Okla; and Mrs. Emma Wright of Hurley; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
