I believe he may have been a friend of my Gr Gr Grandfather Samuel Massey who shot and killed his best friend. Sam Massey married Jackoline Meeks in Stone Co.Mo.In 1870. He was shot in the back and killed in McDonald Co. Mo. in 1872. His Mother was Martha Ellen Anderson and his Father was James H.Massey who arrived in Springfield in the 1830's.
