Kim, this is my first time on the Christian County forum site. It sounds like we have a common ancester, Elizabeth Hiles McDaniel. One of Elizabeth and Andrew's daughters was Tinza Ollie McDaniel who was my grandmother. She married James Franklin Anderson who was a half-brother to Tennessee Greenville Chronister. James and Tennessee's mother was Sarah Elizabeth Johnson, and you mention her parents, Henry Johnson and Hannah Shipman in your response to the person asking about the Hiles. Which of the Elizabeth and Andrew Hiles children is your ancester?

Tinza Ollie (she went by Ollie) and James Anderson's son Loyal (he went by Andy) was my father. My dad remembered his great grandfather William McDaniel (Andrew McDaniel's father) who used to tell his great grandson about fighting on the Union side of the Civil War. I have an old photgraph of William McDaniel.
