Reuben Hail/Hale moved to Greene-Christian County in the late 1830's. He served as a justice of the peace and lived near Sparta. One of his sons, Alexander is buried at Abundance Cemetery behid the welding shop in Sparta. Many of Reuben's descendants are buried at the Sparta(IOOF)Cemetery. I have looked and looked and still do not know who the parents are of
Reuben. Reuben was born in 1802 in Tennessee. He showed up in the 1830 Smith County, TN census. He moved to California and died there in 1873. If you know who anything about who the parents are of Reuben Hail-Hale, please contact me. Thanks so much. brian in springfield
