I am looking for a family of the name of INNIS. My gg-grandmother, Nancy INNIS, married Lewis Henry SMITH in 1878 in Christian Co., MO. I have no idea of her parents names. It is spelled INNIS in the marriage records. But, have seen it as Ennes, Eness and Innes, so take your pick. Would love to be able find any people with any variation of these spellings. Not sure where the INNIS's were prior to Missouri. We have Nancy's birthplace as TN, Illinois, and MO. I know there isn't much to go on here, but it's all I have. Nancy and Lewis "Henry" are listed in Finley Township of Christian Co, on the 1880 Census. He is listed as "Henry" on this census. They lived in Christian Co for several years before moving to Oklahoma and made the Run in 1889. Appreciate hearing from anyone on any part of this post. Have lots of info on Lewis Henry Smith's descendants, but nothing on his parents either. Thank you in advance for any help at all. Regards, Sydney Phillips
