Probably around 1843 Sam and Prissy along with her parents Andrew Wood and Charity Langley Wood moved to Wright Co., Missouri. Her father died in Hartville. They then moved with to Huntsville, Arkansas in themid 1850's then to Ozark, Missouri in the early 1860's.
