Pleasant Newton, in Chariton Co 1840

Looking for information on Pleasant Newton, who appears on the 1840 census near Brunswick. Next door is Asa Turner, whose wife was Elizabeth Newton - they had married 1826 Union CO KY. I think Pleasant may have been Elizabeth Newton's brother.

I descend from Asa Turner's second wife, Jenetta Wilds (widow of John Pile), who he married in 1851. Pleasant Newton interests me, because I think his wife may have been related to me another way.
