Am looking for this couple. Benjamin Ashby and E/Alvira Standley. Benjamin was from Chariton county, Missouri and E/Alvira Standley from Carroll county, Missouri. They were married on 18 July 1833 by Partrick Dorcey/Dorsey, Carroll county, Missouri. {Patrick had married Dicey Standley}

It is thought that Benjamin is somehow connected to Jesse Ashby and his family that lived in Chariton county. Using the marriage age of ~ 21 years, his birth could have occured ~ 1810-1812.

According to what we know, Jesse's daughter Elizabeth married Henry Humphries/Humphreys and his other daughter Delilah/Delila Ashby married Hugh Standley. Hugh is the son of John Standley of Carroll county, Missouri. Jesse's daughter Hannah Ashby married Robert [Gains] Stanley, a son of Jonathan R. Stanley of Chariton county, Missouri.

Hugh Standley and Delilah/Delila had a daughter born in 1830 by name of Elvira Standley. In later years Hugh Standley dropped the letter D from his name and became Hugh Stanley. Henry Humphries/Humphreys by 1850 is probably gold hunting in California as he and another Benj. F. Ashby b. ~ 1830 are in El Dorado county.

Would like to know who Benjamin Ashby was, a son,nephew or cousin of Jesse and what became of him? What became of his wife E/Alivra Standley and if they had any issue. Also, does anyone know of family connection between John Standley and Jonathan R. Stanley?

Any help appreicated.
