CLAYBERG, CLAYBURG, KLAYBERG, KLAYBURG, GLAUBERG

What I have gathered so far is that Isaac GLAUBERG (KLAYBERG, CLAYBERG, CLAYBURG) b. 1781 Germany - d. April 5, 1863 probably Richland Co., OH. He m. Susanna LIEBHART (LIBHART) Dec. 21, 1807 York Co., PA. She was b. Feb. 20, 1782 York Co., PA - d. 1851 Richland Co., OH. They had Sarah b. 1805 PA; Mary b. 1808 PA; Jacob b. 1809 PA; Elizabeth b. 1810; George b. 1811; Susan b. 1813; Catherine b. 1815; Samuel b. 1817; Margaret b. 1818; Henry b. 1820; Rachael b. 1821; John b. 1823.

I believe Isaac (b. 1781) had a brother named John CLAYBERG (see spellings of this surname above). Isaac's son, Jacob CLAYBERG, b. Sept. 23, 1809 PA went to Fulton Co., IL about 1837. It is possible that Jacob was married more than once, as I have seen 2 marriages in Richland Co., OH for Jacob CLAYBERG, but I don't know yet if they are the same Jacob. He m. Elizabeth KELLER or URIE Nov. 28, 1839 Richland Co., OH. Since his first 4 children were b. bef. 1839 it's possible he was married before Elizabeth and she is not the mother of these first 4 children: Isaac b. 1832; Rachel b. 1833; Mary b. 1836; and George William b. March 19, 1837. The next children are Eliza A. b. 1841; Nancy Jane b. Dec. 11, 1841; Sarah Elizabeth b. May 6, 1844; Amanda b. Jan. 18, 1858 and Rose b. 1876. It is possible that Rose's year of birth is wrong because she is born much later than Amanda. Jacob would have been 68 when Rose was born, although it is possible that he fathered a child at that age. But the mother of Rose couldn't have been b. any earlier than 1826. Maybe Jacob had more than 2 wives?

George William CLAYBERG (b. March 19, 1837 - d. Sept. 7, 1926 Prairie Hill, Chariton Co., MO) m. Hester "Hettie" A. MCBRIDE Feb. 10, 1867 Chariton Co., MO. I believe he m. Sarah J. MORRIS May 31, 1857 Sullivan Co., MO. Eliza A. CLAYBERG m. Milton SPEVNEY Aug. 17, 1857 Sullivan Co., MO. Nancy Jane CLAYBERG (b. Dec. 11, 1841 Fulton Co., IL - d. Jan. 30, 1916 Hamden, Chariton Co., MO) m. Thomas SCOTT on July 30, 1861 Chariton Co., MO. Sarah Elizabeth CLAYBERG (b. May 6, 1844 Fulton Co., IL - d. Oct. 11, 1914 Chariton Co., MO) m. George H. WINSLOW on Aug. 23, 1868 Chariton Co., MO. Amanda CLAYBERG (b. Jan. 18, 1858 - d. Sept. 4, 1942 Randolph Co., MO) m. Jasper C. CASE on Dec. 6, 1875 Chariton Co., MO. Rose CLAYBERG (b. 1876(?) - d. 1934 probably Chariton Co., MO) m. Henry PLEYER. Please contact me if you have further info on this family. Thank you.
